THE CHALLENGE
Many individuals and organizations struggle to access fast, affordable, and reliable diagnostic testing. Traditional lab services often involve long wait times, disjointed appointment systems,
and inconsistent sample quality. Individuals lack seamless ways to book tests and get results, while labs miss out on streamlined client management and outreach. LabTracka was developed to solve these inefficiencies—creating
a single platform to connect patients, partner labs, and organizations with a smooth, integrated testing experience.
THE APPROACH
Helixgade’s approach to building LabTracka combined a user-first design with integration into accredited lab operations:

Research and Requirements Gathering:
We consulted patients, healthcare workers, and labs to pinpoint pain points: inaccessible booking systems, delays in sample collection,
and lack of integration between stakeholders.

Using Figma, we crafted an intuitive multi-platform interface—enabling users to easily search tests, select home or walk-in sampling, and securely view results.

Built on a robust tech stack (e.g., React + Node.js), we connected to partner labs to support home-based phlebotomy, walk-in scheduling, and centralized data flow with visible turnaround times.
